With the help of Scout Raskin of Sonic Bunny, we have been given the opportunity to sit down with the world's largest internet distributor Machinima over a new series in development called 'The Locals.' We are proud to announce that we have partnered with them for distribution.

'The Locals' is an online reality series that takes place during and between games within the popular Team Fortress 2, created by Valve. For almost 3 years, a server called TF4 of the Joe.to community has been documented. We take over 15 gigs of in-game video/audio data or 500+ hours of gameplay and convert that into short-length entertainment for the web.

Age of Monsters is an indie game created by our friends at Massive Joe. Featuring the artwork of Jeff Matsuda and some animation done by Ben of Nebula Media.

The game itself is pretty simple. Traditional rock, paper, scissors action with a very epic twist. And you can set messages to be received by your losing opponent to settle whatever conflicts you may have with plenty of trash talk.

We are proud to present Revenge Of The Nerds, a music video by Verbal A.K.A. Malcolm Barrett. Watch it here now!

Shot back in September of 2010, the music video was held from release till Malcolm's newest big screen appearance in "Larry Crowne" would be available in theaters. The time has finally come & we are all so proud to present what we created. The song is the single of Verbal's Backpacker's Guide To The Galaxy, which will also be available on iTunes very soon.

The video is produced by Brooklyn Bound & directed by Desha Dauchan. Nebula Media provided all post-production services for the nearly 5 minute long music video. The crew & cast were a combination of great friends & amazing co-workers; in fact, many members of the crew (and cast) of Better Off Ted are either featured in or helped produce the music video.

So whether you are a BoT fan craving to see the gang re-unite, or an avid hip-hop poetry enthusiast, we believe there is something for you to enjoy. Either way, it's a damn good beat.

Update: The video has been featured on CBS News & Zap2it.com. Thanks to everyone who shared it on facebook & other social networking sites. On Reddit.com, we also did an "Ask Me Anything" with Malcolm & Jonathan.

Producer & lead actor of the Highs & Lows of Milo Brown role in Tom Hank's "Larry Crowne" can now be seen in the first official trailer from Universal. You can watch it here.

Update: NebulaTV beta is live

We are proud to present our first beta of NebulaTV. A a social video sharing & custom YouTube player created by Michael Jolley.

NebulaTV is a social entertainment experiment.

How it works: The audience submits their favorite YouTube videos to a single database which is cycled randomly through the player. While watching, you can vote up or down the video to help decide if it should be kept in the database. Videos are organized by channels & can be flagged for unfavorable content.

At the moment, this is our first build to prove the system is functional. You might have already noticed that because we just began today, our library is pretty limited (which causes repeats.) We really need your help to add interesting & awesome content as we continue to develop & improve the UI.

Update: It's been only a month since we made the our first build of NebulaTV live & we're at 254 videos! This was plenty to get the kinks out of the system. We've also updated the interface to include less repeats & a new submit button. More additions & updates are on the way, please keep submitting new videos!

Update: 504 videos, keep 'em coming!

Update: We've added a multi-segment video option when submitting, now whole shows & movies that are parted on YouTube can be added. 654 videos with some debugging to remove bad links & videos removed by YouTube.

VERBAL's newest album BACKPACKER'S GUIDE To The GALAXY has its first music video produced by Brooklyn Bound, directed by Desha Dauchan & post services (editing, color correction, & visual effects) by Benjamin Van Den Broeck of Nebula Media.

The music video features the song, "Revenge of the Nerds" which is written & performed by Malcolm Barrett a.k.a. VERBAL. The video includes special guest Victor Fresco (executive producer of Better Off Ted) & cameos by Portia DeGeneres (Portia de Rossi), Jay Harrington, Andrea Anders & Jonathan Slavin! Also features Tina Huang & Chris Gardner from The Highs & Lows of Milo Brown.

We'll be sure to update here as soon as the video is released.

Although Nebula has been in the works for nearly 3 years now, this film provides the blueprint for everyone to see & understand of how we believe our transparent, open-source model can change the film & entertainment industry.

What are the plans for Nebula in the coming months, years?

"We'll be continuing to create films & video content yet will be incorporating an interactive means to get everyone with an internet connection involved in what we do. NebulaTV will allow us to develop collaboratively a database of our truely favorite entertainment along with some of our own."

Nebula Media is currently an internet content provider started by Benjamin Van Den Broeck & his crew of trusted colleagues with the sole goal to gather funds for new productions & to manage them at the Hollywood standard that they know to deliver.

By the end of 2010, Nebula sees creating & distributing media on a fixed schedule. For now, we want to create a more powerful website & start gathering funds for the first wave of shorts films & promotional media.
